The 911 Porsche Design 50th Anniversary Edition: a modern take on a design classic.

In celebration of 50 years of Porsche Design, Porsche Cars are releasing the 911 Porsche Design 50th Anniversary Edition in honor of that milestone. This limited edition 911 is limited to 750 vehicles worldwide and features many details that pay homage to the iconic designs of Ferdinand Alexander(F.A.) Porsche.

Based on the 911 Targa 4 GTS, the 911 Porsche Design 50th A.E. comes in Black or Jet Black Metallic, a reference to Porsche Design’s first product, the Chronograph I. For the accent colors, such as the Targa bar, it’s painted in a satin finish of Platinum. The wheels of this limited edition 911 are from the Turbo S, 20-inches at the front and 21 at the rear. Other unique options include the badging on the slats of the rear lid grille and the Porsche Design badging on the doors.

Inside, this 911 is equipped with Sport-Tex equipment in Black leather, Slate Grey seams, and the center panels of the seats are adorned in a classic check pattern in Black and Cool Grey. The seats are also the 18-way electronically adjustable Adaptive Sport Seats Plus as standard and the Sport Chrono Package. Also, the headrests are embossed with the Porsche Design 50th Anniversary logo, and the center console storage lid is embossed with F.A. Porsche’s signature. Finally, the dashboard trim contains a limited edition number of the vehicle.
